Project: Explainer for BOXCAD Configurator (Full CG)
The Challenge: To visually demonstrate the logic of the online configurator, from selecting a base model to generating custom cutouts. The goal was to show that users have full control over geometry and accessories without needing complex engineering skills.
The Solution: I created an animation that simulates the interface and the user’s step-by-step workflow. The video is divided into stages:
Selection: Choosing the enclosure type.
Configuration: Real-time adjustments of dimensions (height/width/depth).
Materials: Setting paint colors and textures (RAL/Stainless Steel).
Customization: Demonstrating the "Drag & Drop" of accessories (screens, buttons, ventilation) with the automatic generation of corresponding technical cutouts.
Key Technical Aspects:
UI/UX Animation: Visualizing menus and parametric changes through motion graphics.
CAD to Motion: Converting engineering data into clean geometry for optimized animation.
Component Logic: Demonstrating accessory installation and cable management on the final product.
